The priority of the Business Ambassador is the development of a Russian trade house in Nigeria, the establishment of a platform for the promotion of engineering products, the implementation of localization projects of Russian industries in Nigeria, opening a demonstration and tasting pavilion (showroom) Russian food in Lagos, the build platform e-commerce for the sale of Russian food products in Nigeria, registration of Russian products in the Nigerian Agency the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC). The Business Ambassador assists Buisness Russia companies in entering the Nigerian market, with the subsequent possibility of entering the market of 15 countries of The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and assists African companies in finding Russian partners from among the companies of the business association. On the territory of Nigeria, a representative office of the business ambassador of Buisness Russia has been opened in Lagos based on Golden Horn Universal Resources Ltd, the founder of which is the Sology Group of companies under the leadership of Maxim Dorotov. The office of the business ambassador of Buisness Russia in Nigeria offers individual solutions in the field of international marketing, sales, logistics, as well as foreign trade support (field marketing research, contract holder service, testing of prototypes in foreign laboratories, preparation of permits for export and import, preparation and support of the conclusion of a foreign trade contract). The team is represented by experts-practitioners in international trading, non-tariff regulation measures, the WTO and the export of goods and services to foreign markets. |

On 16 January, 2020, founder and managing director of the group SOLOGY Maxim Dorotov was empowered as business Ambassador of the organization in the Federal Republic of Nigeria by the decision of the Chairman of Buisness Russia Alexey Repik. In the development of the Russia-Nigeria business agenda in 2020, the business Ambassador and his team was established dialogue on the African agenda with the «Russian export center», Federal state budgetary institution «Federal center for the development of exports of agro-industrial complex of the Russian Federation», the state development Corporation «VEB RF», the Russian Embassy in Nigeria, the Nigerian-Russian Chamber of Commerce, Chamber of Commerce of Lagos, the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), Nigerian Diaspora NIDO Russia. On March 6, the Business Ambassador of Buisness Russia to Nigeria, Maxim Dorotov, initiated a business breakfast with the participation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to Russia, Professor Steve Davis Ugba. The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Russian Export Centre, regional authorities, the business and the expert community. On June 26, the company of the business ambassador of Buisness Russia in Nigeria became a full member of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, having received an official notification — a certificate for 5 years. The Lagos CCI includes the leading private sector group in Nigeria, with more than 2,000 corporate members. On November 2, the Business ambassador held talks with the President of the Nigerian-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Obiora Okonkwo, which was established by the Federal Government of Nigeria to develop economic relations between the two countries. On November 23, Maxim Dorotov spoke at the round table «Prospects for the export of Russian non-primary products to Africa: a Business Perspective», which was organized by Buisness Russia jointly with the Federation Council Committee on Economic Policy and the AFROCOM — Coordinating Committee for Economic Cooperation with African Сountries. In 2020, Maxim Dorotov also conducted several business missions to the Russian regions (Altai Krai, Rostov Region) with the aim of developing Russian-African cooperation. |
