FICCI, founded in 1927, is the largest and oldest business organization in India. Its history is closely intertwined with India's struggle for independence, its industrialization and its emergence as one of the fastest growing world economies.

The non-governmental non-profit organization FICCI is the voice of India's business and industry. From the influence of politics on the promotion of debate, interaction with politicians and civil society, the FICCI formulates opinions and concerns of industry. It serves its members from Indian private and public corporate sectors, and multinational companies, using its strengths from various regional chambers of commerce and industry from different countries, spanning more than 2,500,000 companies.

FICCI provides a platform for networking and consensus building within and between sectors and is the first port for the Indian industry, politicians and the international business community.
